It looked like a slow start, but we managed to raise $2000 and 800lbs of food for the Red Deer Food Bank and in turn we completed over 20 appointments yesturday (Tues, Sept 13) at no charge to our clients! Nicole and Desiree got the top donations from their clients, and at 530pm Dr. Norm Hoffman came in to give us a presentation on the importance of good posture, then we started into our Trainer Challenge at 630pm. 4 grueling challenges were lined up for our group of 6 personal trainers, and they were scored by their speed and number of reps in each challenge. Overall, Corey came out on top, followed closely by Adam and Josh. It was a close competition, but the real winners were our awesome clients who came as spectators even though it was a chilly September evening.</p>
<p>We would like to thank all of our clients for their dedication and participation in our event, as well as Dr. Norm Hoffman for graciously coming by to speak to us. Also, Susan from One Tooth Activewear and Taryn from Urban Easle dropped by with some giveaways and to show their support! Thanks alot guys!</p>

With just a handful of appointments we were certainly closed more than we were open.</span></div>

<div><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;">Just Pat, Maranda, myself and that Leon Character. Pat had a real job couldn’t be here often, we hardly knew what we were doing but we had a dream&#8230;and well I’m not gonna lie we hoped we could make this fly.</span></div>

<div><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;">We had awful painted doors, a cardio room you could barely turn around in, you couldn’t do squats and cable rows at the same time, and mops, brooms and cleaning supplies crammed at the end of the hall daring to spring out and get you at any moment&#8230;or at least cause chaos on calamity.</span></div>
