What is a Kettlebell?

A Kettlebell looks like a cannonball with a carrying handle; a truly sophisticated piece of fitness equipment. Not really, in fact it is a tool that has been around far longer than many of the more traditional forms of exercise equipment we are all familiar with.

What makes Kettlebells of interest to us at One-to-1 Fitness?

At One-to-1 Fitness, we believe it is important to live a pain free life; to have the freedom and ability to enjoy a rich quality of life for a very long time. To achieve this, our body needs regular movement. Kettlebell training offers movement patterns that recruit multiple muscles and joint systems, encouraging the body to remain or become strong, healthy and durable.

This mode of training can be a great compliment to your regular exercise program. It may also provide an exercise solution that is very practical and cost effective for those that would like to workout at home or maintain their programs while travelling abroad. Training with kettlebells may very well educate you on how to use new methods to recreate old exercises.
