I had gained a lot of weight after moving home from overseas. After buying a treadmill and altering my diet on my own, I was still unable to lose the weight. I knew I needed professional help. I needed to know what to eat, how much, and a better understanding of how food is related to weight loss. I was also always unsure of what kinds of exercising I should be doing, how often, and what my intensity level should be to get results. After one whole year of using my treadmill and watching my diet, I lost only 3 pounds. I knew there must be a better way.
In my 7 months at One to 1 I have managed to lose 28 pounds, 88 cm over my whole body, and lost 8% of my excess body fat!
I tried Curves about 10 years ago and had lost about 30 pounds, but there was no nutritional support and the weight came back on. With One to 1 Fitness my food was often a discussion topic, not only what I was eating but when and how much at each meal. I also really appreciated that my trainer gave me everyday tips and recipes that she herself uses. This gets you through the harder times and its nice to know the trainers also have to work on their own nutrition daily just like I did. We all have similar goals. I also appreciated that the workouts were tailored to me individually and were changed up monthly. It gave me a chance to really see my progress and constantly challenged my body.
I would definitely recommend One to 1 Fitness. This Facility gives the one on one support to each of their clients which is essential in reaching your goals. Its also nice to know that there is someone who can answer your questions, push you physically and get you the results you are looking for. Everyone at this gym is always happy to help and there’s plenty of motivation and energy to go around!
I personally need someone to motivate and challenge me in my workouts in order to reach my goals. My trainer provides this for me along with plenty of information on how my body is working and ways to improve. The scariest part of joining a personal training facility, is not knowing what to expect and fear of failure. But with someone at your side constantly telling you that you can do it, it makes it easier, and you realize you can!
